Jo Report 14 Feb 2005 18:36

Many years ago I helped out at a primary school and one of the children had suspected meningitus so we all had to take tablets. They turned all your water works bright pink, my brother thought it funny to make me cry just to see my pink tears and yes my wee was also pink.

From Rotten(.)Com Alternative pee colors can be produced by ingesting indigo dye or methylene blue (for blue pee); rhubarb, cascara, and senna (brown, if your pee is acidic, or pink, if your pee is alkali); L-Dopa (dark brown); and the wormwood ingredient santonin (more pink for alkaline pee). Lastly, a few people can even produce red pee by eating beets. All this leads one to wonder, if you and your buddy cross streams in the snow, could you get a new color combination? Remember, blue and red make purple.
