I was just reading a back number of Saga magazine and was interested to see the latest de-stressing trend, especially among French women. Colouring books for adults. Quite complicated ones. Apparently while concentrating on the colouring it relaxes the mind and helps de-stress.

I wonder if that is why those of us who stamp enjoy colouring the images. :-)

Forgot to tell you Ann that I have sent some christmas pics to you,
I bought two dies attached to magazines , so the fiver each mag seemed a good buy, ' the dies on line are approx £ 7/.8.00 each.....
thats the only time I buy mags now, if there are dies as a free gift.... ;-) ;-)

I think I replied re the pics Jean. I recently bought Cardmaking and papercraft magazine which had Hunkydory 4 sheets of toppers and 8 A4 sheets of paper with small designs on to match. Really good value, so far made 7 cards with them and can easily make another 8, £4.99 good value. :-D

That sounds a great offer Ann, I spent some time trying out the dies from the mags, one was a bauble nice but would have been easier to do with waxed paper on it, cant find mine anywere, the other was Winter Wishes, that was great , also I had a Sue Wison corner die, that was very good too, I liked her dies so will get some more I think.
also embossed some 8x8 cards with folders I got off C/C Tattered Lace ones including borders and corners quite impressed with them....but didnt make up the cards, just wanted to try them out.... maybe tomorrow I will do some more, see how i am...are you taking pics of your cards or put them on the blog? I would love to see them,. off to bed so chat later Love Jean xx.

I haven't taken pics of them yet as I make so many but I will take a few of the Hunkydory ones. Just made the 17th card out of that pack.

Jean, if you can't find your waxed paper the inner bag of a box of cereal works well (just make sure you wipe off all the cereal dust :-)).

In the end I managed to make 24 cards from the pack, the only things added not in the pack were sentiments, a few gems and glitter glue. I am really pleased with that, £4.99 for the magazine and 24 cards ( plus of course the actual cards which I already had. :-D

Went into town today and spotted another magazine with a good free gift of toppers and papers, foil paprers this time. It said I should be able to make at least 10 cards, so I have made 13. Another good buy. Now must get down to using stock I already have for the rest of my cards. Not making any complicated ones this year, just scrap book type with backing papers and toppers.

Fascinating Von, It looked like a really interesting day, albeit messy! :-D

I keep thinking how much Jude would have loved that. Not sure if she looks in, hope so but she is very busy these days. I might PM her to ask her to look at the website.

Thanks for sharing it Von....... And for reviving the thread. :-D :-D
