Just read this thread and hoped your daughter and grandsons are ok
I have been in this position but my sons though I took them away from the situation when my eldest son was 10yrs and 7mnths it still lives in them even now and my ex never was charged as I never told anyone but seeing him attack my 10yr old made me leave for there safety as I had a 3yr old who had a shock when small and never spoke till he was 4yr still having problems with speech and behavior

I just hope anyone reading this thread if in same position think of damage done to the kids when they witness this behaviour

Dear Annie,
Only just read this.....
Hope your daughter is mending well...
It is terrible the children had to witness their mom being treated so badly....but I was pleased to think think they jumped in to 'save' their mom...it shows they thought it was wrong...
The 'good' thing is they will not be under any illusions that their dad is a good man...having witnessed him assualting their mom first hand... they will remember it when they are older.......not like my friends kids, who think their dad is the 'wronged' party..and that the sun shines out his back-side..because he was always careful not to do anything in front of them..and she is too proud to tell them the truth!!!
hugs to you all xxx

Thanks to everyone asking about my family. My daughter has to have a operation on her nose.Dont know when yet but she had to see the ear nose and throat surgeon.Thankfully she has bounced back and so have the boys. Her ex's step father pops down to see her and the boys from time to time, but she is not sure if thats her ex asking him to or he is doing it because he cares.I have been taking the boys football in case the ex turns up,but so far he has stayed away. grannie
glad your daughters bounced back , tho psycologically its bound to have had effect on her and her lads,

god help that man as them boys grow up,
he got it coming his way three fold,

im sure his father pops in cos he likes to see her and the boys, he probably embarrased his lad behaves the way he has,

give your daughter plenty of hugs,
and them grandsons of yours,
