Does anyone else have old songs they learnt from their Grandparents? I remember when I was a little girl, long journeys from Hampshire to Devon(My Dad's birthplace) Grandad used to sing to us to keep us amused. We used to have such fun and I still remember most of those songs today. That was about 35-40 yrs ago. I have now taught my own Grandchildren who love to sing these old songs. One I remember may not be considered suitable by some! 'Does the driver want to wee wee, does the driver want to wee wee, does the driver want to wee wee, if he does we do too.' This should be robustly sung to Battle Hymn of the Republic tune. |
