No news is good news ?..............the programme has to be filled with something I suppose.............I don't watch much telly personally and only watch the news in the morning .

LOL remember when MY first'un was born, we put the missis in the ambulance, and I followed it on me motorbike, saw her into the hospital only to be met by the matron saying, "go home now Father and ring up in the morning........."

Actually his name is Kai not Kia, and I wish them all well with their little boy. I am not much interested in football or Wayne R. but saw a different side to Colleen when she was on a programme about handicapped children as her sister is handicapped. She was very nice with everyone at the hospital/home and didn't put on airs and graces. She has I believe raised a lot of money for the place where her sister is cared for.

'imself was similarly incensed that it was headline news, especially that there was talk of a bidding war for photos of the child.

I'm even more incensed that people buy the papers and magazines that pay silly money for celeb photos.

And as for paying for exclusve rights to weddings etc - aren't they rich enough already? Some, I know, give the money to charity like Brad and Angela but most don't.

There is some truth in this, joking aside.

My grandad, used to watch the news (then only BBC & ITV) religiously. I always had to be quiet whilst he was watching it. Apart from the Saturday wresteling, which he adored, the news was the most important times of the day.

I used to wonder why, but as an adult now, I realise him going through the war, the news was so important to families at the time (on the radio) most people tuned in for vital info. Old habits die hard, and dear old grandad just had to watch it just incase he missed something vital which was going on.

I now tune in severel times during the day, I have done since 9/11. Mostly through habit now to see whats going on in the world. The roles are now reversed, News interests me, & my kids cant think why :o)))
