HI Paul, sorry to hear that your dog isn't very well. i lost my dog back in 2001 she was a lab X it was the worst day of my life , because i wasn't with her the vet had taken her to look her over and told me to come back later in the day , then i got a phone call to say that she had died. hazelx

Hazel that must have been heartbraeking, Paul my dog is a lab too, my best mate, I adore him, he is enjoying life but I dont think he has too long... caz xxxxxxx Hugs for your pal xxx

When we as humans grieve, whether it be for a relative, friends, beloved animal, whoever - we are feeling that grief and sadness for our own loss. If the person or animal is really unwell/seriously ill, they are the ones who are happy because they have been released from their suffering. Thoughts with you Paul Sylvxx

Hi Paul just found this and know exactly what you are going through making that final decision is the hardest thing in the world, but you will know when the time is right and make it. As my vet said to me you know your dog you know if they unhappy. I had to make this decision earlier this year and felt terrible but knew my poor Elsa had had enough. Thinking of you all Germaine x
