Years ago, I wanted to be a missionary ... then a journalist ... ...... I wanted to meet someone, fall in love, get married, have children, make other people happy, and be happy myself. |

If I could have my time again I would have liked to have been a Forensic Pathologist/Scientist. I find the way that crimes are solved through DNA and minute traces of evidence fascinating. |

I read a book on Forensic science and love watching the programmes about it. It sounds like a fascinating albeit gruesome career. As for archaeology, I'd love to have done that too. My old company, which I left a couple of weeks ago, is about to move to a brand new office, and the old office, is being pulled down to make way for flats. As the site is very close to Norwich Cathedral, they will be doing a dig there before the build. How I would love to be involved in that, but I have arthritis and wouldn't be able to get down there. I loved digging around in the garden when I was a kid, always pulling up bits of old china and teaspoons, the odd penny or ha'penny and of course the usual screws and washers lol |

I always wanted to be an Air Hostess, sounded very grand & thought it would give me lots foreign travel with time to visit places I always wanted. Was a very 'rose glasses'view of what an air hostess did & how much time she had in between flights for sight seeing. Am glad now I didnt do it as it seems the poor girls get very jaded thro lack of sleep & quick turnarounds so no time to even see past the foreign airports |

Always wanted to be a midwife :~D Would still love to be one, but the state of the NHS regarding Midwives is diabolical and getting worse. You do all that training and then end up with no job as there aren't enough paid positions. *tsk* terrible state for expectant mums to be in. Heaps of midwives are going private now or going abroad to work :~( Ended up as a Reiki practitioner and an almost fully qualified EFT practitioner ;~D XX Sioux |

I always wanted to be a air hostess or pathologist and ended up as I am now a Personal Assistant in an office. Cushy job really. Yvonne |

I am training to do my dream job and have been for the last 2 years (1 year left then have to find a job). From the time I was 5/6 I wanted to be a paediatric nurse and I soon will be - am loveing every minute of my training except getting up at 4;30 to go to work on the wards. |
